Here’s another painting exercise for Evolve Artist – this is Block 3 #5. This one is from a photo provided by Evolve.

This one was pretty straightforward, although I got paint everywhere and wasted far too much paint trying to get the brown background colour right. It’s annoying when that happens, but I just need more practice.
Next up is another painting from life at about this level of complexity. I have my still life set up, but need to decide on the background colours. It’s nice to get away from the same grey backgrounds for everything!
