I haven’t created a lot of new art for my stores lately, but this is one of the digital paintings I did earlier this year, made in Procreate on my iPad. It’s the first in a series of three, and features a bold black brushstroke on a light textured background.
As with all of my art, this was drawn by hand – no AI! I’m not anti-AI in general, but I’m an artist because I love making things with my own hands, whether I’m drawing and painting traditionally or digitally. I definitely don’t enjoy writing prompts, and having a computer generate the image feels like turning over the fun part to a machine!
I’ll post the other two in this mini series soon. I’m going to be working in series a lot more going forward. I tend to jump around all over the place, but I want to get a bit more focused.
This abstract painting is for sale as prints and on various other products from Society6 and Pixels.com.
There is no watermark on the printed products.
