As the name suggests, Abstract Mandalas features all abstract designs. These can be especially relaxing to colour, since you don’t have to think about colouring objects realistically. The book has fifty original mandala designs, and most of these are moderately detailed. There are also some that are a bit easier or more challenging, so there’s plenty of variety! Abstract Mandalas is a great book for adults, as well as for older kids.

Through the Kaleidoscope isn’t a traditional mandala colouring book, but instead features full page mandala-style patterns. These are coloured just like normal mandalas, but instead extend to fill a frame near the edges of the page, rather than being circles on a white background. If you like to colour abstract mandalas, you might enjoy this book too. Most of the illustrations are moderately detailed, and some are quite easy, so it’s suitable for a wide age range.

Easy Mandalas was my first mandala colouring book, first released back in 2015. It has a mixture of abstract and themed designs, all of which are drawn with relatively large spaces so they’re easy to colour. It’s a great choice if you want a mix of design types that aren’t difficult to colour, and is suitable for both adults and children.
