I drew this watermelon slice in Procreate, using watercolour brushes. I like painting on paper more than digital art, but sometimes it’s just not convenient. Plus Procreate is a lot of fun, and you can get some realistic looking painting brushes for it. This watermelon is in a simplified style, with pink flesh on a paper textured white background. I plan to do more fruit and vegetable paintings soon. They’re one of my favourite subjects to draw and paint (and eat!) – like most natural things, the forms and colours are just so pretty.
This watermelon art is for sale in my stores as prints.
There is no watermark on the prints.
